4th of July Celebrations Throughout Los Angeles

Visiting California is one of the most favorite summer vacation choices in the United States. Los Angeles is the perfect place to spend your Fourth of July Family Vacation. Your family will have the choice of watching fireworks light up the beach or in the mountains. Enjoy your day on the beach, amusement park, sporting event or even just spend the day at a local park. Los Angeles offers something for everyone, and plenty of sun and fireworks to light up your Fourth of July night!

Be sure to check out and confirm the date of the event carefully as some of these events will not be held on 4th of July.

Agoura Hills

Alhambra

4th of July Fireworks Celebration, Almansor Park, July 4, 2018, Festivities will begin at 3:00p.m., food, carnival games, live music and fireworks begin at 9:00p.m.

Arcadia

Patriotic Event – 50+ Special Event, Arcadia Community Center, July 6, 2018, 11:30a.m. to 1:30p.m. Celebrate the 4th of July with us! Play games, win prizes and enjoy lunch and dessert. $5 admission.

Artesia

Patriotic Parade Entries include: Teams, Cars, Schools, Businesses, Car Clubs, Floats, Churches and more. Sign-up form on line. Parade and Run is on Pioneer Blvd ending at Artesia Park! Avalon’s 4th of July Festivities, Avalon, July 4, 2018, BBQ, live music, old-fashioned parade, kids’ activities and games, fireworks.

Baldwin Park

Baldwin Park Independence Bash, Sierra Vista High School, July 4, 2018, 5:00 to 9:30 p.m., “Fun Zone” of carnival-style rides, inflatable jumpers, food vendors, live entertainment, and fireworks to light up the sky at 9:05p.m.. No alcoholic beverages.

Burbank

An American Celebration Fireworks Spectacular, Starlight Bowl, July 4, 2018, Parking opens at 4:30p.m., gates open at 5:30p.m., concert performed by High Street Band and Precious Byrd begins at 6:30p.m. Fireworks following concert. Purchase tickets here.

Calabasas

Calabasas Fireworks Spectacular, Calabasas High School Football Field, 5:00p.m. Gates Open, Family Fun Zone hosted by “Who’s That DJ?” featuring games and prizes, inflatables, arts and crafts, temporary tattoos, stilt walkers, balloons and more! (Note: Fun Zone closes at 8:30pm when the sun goes down), Live musical dance party! The evening ends with musically choreographed Fireworks Spectacular!

Camarillo

July 4th Independence Day Celebration, July 4, 2018, 4:00p.m. to 9:30p.m. Fireworks begin at 9:00p.m. Admission is $2 per person; children five years old and under are admitted free. You may bring your own chairs, blankets, and coolers.

Carson

LA Galaxy v. D.C. United, Stubhub Center, July 4, 2018, 7:30p.m. The fireworks will start 10 minutes after the final whistle of the game. The fireworks will be able to be viewed within the neighborhoods surrounding the Stubhub Center.

Cerritos

45th Annual Let Freedom Ring Celebration, Cerritos Civic Center, July 4, 2018, rides, entertainment and a bell-ringing ceremony. All-day ride wristbands will be $25; discounted wristbands will be available for $20 through Friday, June 29. Fireworks show at Cerritos High School at 9 p.m.

Channel Islands

4th of July Children’s Parade, The Channel Islands Harbor 4th of July Children’s Parade is back! The parade begins at 10:30 a.m. at Albacore Way, travels north up Harbor Blvd. and ends at Cabezone Circle, home to Marine Emporium Landing. You must have a 4th of July Children’s Parade form filled out and submitted prior to participating.

Claremont

City of Claremont Fourth of July Celebration, Memorial Park, Pancake Breakfast, 5K, Children’s Activities, Parade, Concert and Fireworks Show. See Website for Schedule.

Covina

Pancake Breakfast with the Band, Covina Park, July 4, 2018, 8:30a.m., Pancake breakfast and patriotic music concert. Donations are encouraged.

Culver City

Culver City’s Fourth of July Fireworks Show, West LA College, Gates open at 4:00p.m., Carnival Games, Live Music, Raffle, Food Trucks, and Fireworks. Suggested Donation to Enter: $5 per person, Kids under age 5 – Free. Parking $15.00.

Bonus Tip: One of the best views in Los Angeles on the Fourth of July is from the Baldwin Hills Scenic Overlook in Culver City. Worth the sweat it will take to get up the stairs which are 700 feet up. You will be rewarded with a 360-degree view of firework shows from Redondo Beach to the LA Coliseum, as well as the nearby Culver City Fireworks nearby. If you make this hike, please be sure to send us pictures or use hashtag #camombloggers so that we can see!

Diamond Bar

4th of July Blast, Diamond Bar High School, July 4, 2018, Gates open at 5:00p.m., patriotic event with a live musical performance by “Cold Duck,” the versatile R&B and variety band, and closes out with a spectacular fireworks display to light up the night sky at 9 p.m. Bring your dancing shoes, a picnic dinner or visit one of the participating food trucks, and either a blanket or chair for grass-seating.

El Segundo

El Segundo 4th of July Celebration!, Stevenson Field, July 4, 2018, 10 a.m. – 9:00p.m., Daytime event includes food, games such as hula hooping, water balloon tossing, sack races, pie-eating and watermelon-eating contest. Evening event includes live music from 5:00p.m. to 7:00p.m. and the fireworks will begin at 9p.m.

Fillmore

32nd Annual Sespe Creek Car and Cycle Show, Central Avenue, July 4, 2018, 9:00a.m. to 4 p.m., Street fair, music, food, where classic cars, low ride, park to show their car, truck, or bike. $30.00 per car.

July 4th Fillmore Chili Cook-Off & Beer Fest, Central Park * Downtown Villmore, July 4, 2018, 10:00a.m. to 5p.m.,

Firecracker Train, Central Park * Downtown Villmore, July 4, 2018, Depart 6:30p.m. Return 10:00p.m. After a delicious BBQ dinner and train ride through the beautiful Heritage Valley, you will enjoy a wonderful display of fireworks put on by the City of Fillmore.

Hollywood Bowl July 4th Fireworks Spectacular with The Go-Go’s, Hollywood Bowl, July 4, 2018, 7:30p.m., Make it a Fourth to remember with a patriotic program of star-spangled music and the groundbreaking all-girl hit-makers The Go-Go’s. The 1980s megastars will fill the Bowl with a raucous set of power-pop like “We Got the Beat” and “Our Lips Are Sealed” before our famous fireworks close out the night.

Thelma & Louise + Fireworks, Hollywood Forever Cemetery, July 3, 2018, doors at 7:15p.m. movie at 9p.m.. Hit the road with the female duo that changed pop culture forever. With Susan Sarandon and Geena Davis behind the wheel, it’ll be an electrifying night under the stars that’ll culminate in the best firework show in Los Angeles. Admission is $35; however, this event is now sold out.

Families will be able to witness the ambiance of the Aquarium at night and get a fish-eye view of the Queen Mary fireworks display. As of June 27, 2018, the Torrance Beach Fireworks Display has been canceled due to funding. We hope that it returns in 2019.

Woodland Hills

July 4th Fireworks Extravaganza, July 4, 2018, 6:00p.m. to 9:30p.m., Free concert and 15-minute spectacular fireworks display. There will be over 20 local restaurants on hand along with arts and crafts vendors and local businesses promoting and selling their goods.
