Essential Dorm Room Shopping at Bed Bath & Beyond

Thank you to Bed Bath and Beyond /Harmon Face Value for sponsoring this post! I really appreciate the timing of this opportunity!

My daughter will be beginning her last year of college this month. Since we live just a half hour away from the university, she has been living at home. This year, she has made the decision that she would like to live on campus so that she could have the complete college-life experience.

As a single mom, this will be the first time living on my own since I became a mom almost 22 years ago. But, it is my job to make sure that she is ready! Thanks to Bed Bath and Beyond and Harmon Face Values, they will be making it so much easier to shop for her as they are a complete one stop shop for college dorm essentials.

This week, we are doing our back to campus shopping at Bed Bath & Beyond and Harmon Face Values. Harmon Face Values is a store located within certain Bed Bath & Beyond locations. You can search here to find your nearest Bed Bath & Beyond / Harmon Face Value is to you. {Be sure to mark on “Harman”.} Just a hint to South Orange County residents, the Dana Point/Ocean Ranch store does not carry Harman Products but the one in Mission Viejo does!

In addition to all of the dorm room basics that she needs such as beddings and towels, she will also need her very own health, hygiene, and beauty essentials ~ from an Oral-B toothbrush and CoverGirl mascara to Venus Razors and Herbal Essences shampoo and conditioner ~ which can be found in the aisles of Harmon Face Values. She needs her own personal hygiene products and she knows that she cannot share because everyone needs their own personal hygiene products. Sharing germs is just gross. You may be able to share clothes, top ramen, and a pizza but you just can’t share your personal hygiene products.

Some of my favorite things I found at Bed Bath and Beyond were:

Disclosure: Thank you to Bed Bath and Beyond for sponsoring this post. I received an essential shower caddy, gift card, and financial compensation for this post; however, all thoughts and opinions are my own. Once I get my daughter settled in her dorm, I am excited about converting her room into a craft room/guest room so I am sure I will be back to Bed Bath and Beyond to do some empty nest therapy shopping!

Sometimes it’s fun to share clothes if you both wear the same size. My roommates’ boyfriend used to stay over and eat all my food, so that wasn’t cool…
