Blog Information Poppies & Pinot is a wine country parenting lifestyle blog, for parents with a twisted sense of humor and a sensitive side. Mothers deserve to have to laugh about our mishaps and to find inspiration without being overwhelmed by a burdensome sense of obligation. Many parenting resources online focus on how to be more or better at this gig we call raising children. Poppies focuses on just being enough. As the author of Poppies, I’m figuring it out myself as I go, and I want to invite others to join me in the conversation. Like friends meeting for coffee and venting, Poppies is a safe place for vulnerable honesty. I am striving to build a community of parents both within the idyllic Sonoma County, and online. The website offers reviews of local events, restaurants and activities, and easy DIY’s. Primarily though, Poppies is a place to meet and commune over this motherhood gig. I believe we can all lean into and on each other a little more and find common ground between our differences.
