The annual parade and festivities are held on the Friday after the Thanksgiving Holiday and is preceded by the Niles Tree Lighting. Parade Route: Starting at Hollywood & Orange Drive. The u-shaped parade route will travel east to Vine Street, south on Vine Street to Sunset Blvd., & west on Sunset Boulevard, back to Orange Drive.
A true Hollywood yearly tradition, the parade attracts more than one million in attendance each year, with larger than life inflatable character balloons and celebrity filled cars making the much heralded trek down the over three mile parade route.
41st Annual Montrose Christmas Parade

Parade Route: Begins at Honolulu Ave & Rosemont Avenue and runs east to Verdugo Rd. The center of the parade and the entire Montrose area is the intersection of Honolulu Ave & Ocean View Blvd.

We invite you to come early …do some shopping, enjoy one of our fine restaurants, and get a good spot on the parade route! Very much a family-focused parade, more than 150 community service and youth groups, drill teams and bands from the surrounding cities participate in the parade each year. We have the unique honor of a fly-by with Santa Claus in one of Glendale’s finest Police helicopters.

Parade Route: The 5 1/2-mile Rose Parade route begins at the corner of Green Street and Orange Grove Boulevard in Pasadena. The parade travels north on Orange Grove at a leisurely 2 1/2-mile per hour pace and then turns east onto Colorado Boulevard, where the majority of the parade viewing takes place. Near the end of the route, the parade turns north onto Sierra Madre Boulevard and concludes at Villa Street.
The Tournament of Roses Parade is a celebration more than a century old – a festival of flowers, music and sports unequaled anywhere else in the world. It’s America’s New Year Celebration, a greeting to the world on the first day of the year, and a salute to the community spirit and love of pageantry that have thrived in Pasadena for more than 100 years.
